Instructional Coach/Science Lead
RISE STEAM Academy teachers are responsible for ensuring that every RISE student masters the academic, STEAM, and life skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century, while also embodying RISE’s values daily. In this dual role, an innovative and passionate Instructional Coach will be responsible for planning and monitoring high-quality science instruction to students while also supporting teachers in implementing RISE instructional practices. The Instructional Coach will contribute to the overall growth and development of teachers as well as student academic outcomes. RISE instructional coaches and teachers set ambitious goals for student and teacher achievement, invest all stakeholders in accomplishing them; cultivate a powerful learning environment; plan and deliver purposeful, rigorous, STEAM based instruction and coaching; assess for mastery and track student and teacher progress toward goals; analyze data to intervene and adjust instruction and coaching; and seek excellence as an educator and RISE team member. Paraprofessional Teaching Assistant
The Paraprofessional Teaching Assistant is essential in ensuring that all students, including those with diverse learning needs, receive the support necessary to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The Paraprofessional Teaching Assistant supports classroom teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and promoting a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist with daily classroom activities, provide individualized attention to students, lead lessons, and help manage classroom behavior.
